“I’m making The Boy a Sushi cake.”
My daughter’s words stopped me cold in my tracks. Sushi and cake are two words that just don’t belong together. I’m not a fan of sushi…or seaweed…or anything green from the ocean. At all. So, eating it? ENTIRELY out of the question.
The Boy? He LOVES it. That would be an understatement. We have a drawer in our kitchen dedicated to Sushi.
So, for his birthday we went for Sushi. Luckily they had sesame chicken so I could eat.
We had cheesecake for his birthday and I thought the Sushi Cake was forgotten.
Last weekend we were finally able to have a family/friends birthday dinner for the boy. Gabby made the cake (sort of).
