Today we made a trip up Highway 95 toward McCall. I remember this drive from my childhood and wanted my children to experience the same drive. I forgot how beautiful it was…
The clouds were beautiful. You could see their shadows on the hills below.
Cambridge, Idaho ~ Population 326.
I loved the old buildings. This particular one piqued my interest and I shot a photo.
LOVE this one! I made The husband stop just so I could take it…for my kitchen!
This sign made me giggle!
We drove through New Meadows and Council. The Ponderosa pines began to increase, the clouds darkened and everything was totally green!
Welcome to McCall, Idaho. Population 2,991. McCall is situated along the southern shore of Lake Payette.
We stopped at Rotary Park located at the east end of Lardo Bridge, between Highway 55 & Payette Lake, where the N Fork Payette River exits the Lake at Lardo Bridge. What a beautiful scene before our eyes. Even with the overcast skies!
Since outdoor light is my favorite source for photography I had to take pictures.
After it started sprinkling we decided to explore more of the McCall area. We headed over to Ponderosa State Park.
We decided it was a beautiful campground and would love to come back here for a visit.
