‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;
Christmas Eve night I filled the stockings with chocolate, hair goodies and other fun items. The kids love the stockings almost more than the presents. Christmas morning the kids wake up early and bring the stockings into our room to open. This is the first year they did not jump onto the bed. The kids sat on the floor and commenced with emptying the stockings. Chocolate Santas are always a hit. Gabby received a horse wallet. Bella was excited to find many bottles of nail polish and hair ties. Of course once THAT was done they begged mom and dad to get out of bed so that presents could be opened.
We turned on the lights which made a pretty glow. After arguing about who was Santa, we nominated Gabby.
The kids enjoyed their presents from each other. Then it was time to for the big event.
Then it was clean-up time. We brought out the last surprise: Cinnabon for breakfast! YUM! After a quick nap, we headed over to see the Monkey Boy.
Hope your Christmas was a fun one!
