The Homeschool Mother’s Journal began as a single post by Sue on a Friday morning, and turned into a link-up for homeschool mothers across the blog-O-sphere to share a piece of their journey with one another each week.

Well, it’s Friday, I’m alive. Good thing. Because Saturday I have to wake up take Bear to Gymnastics, both girls to buy a present and then to Sherwood for an ice-skating birthday party. I’m hoping I can sneak out and visit Sleigh Bells all by myself. I need want a new snowman for my collection.
Daddy has been really busy this week working. We are looking forward to his upcoming break.
And most importantly…I may be finally getting a car! YEA! The little ole Civic is wonky again and I’m tired of driving the Beast everywhere I go. It’s hard to find a parking spot for it.
In our homeschool this week…
We settled into our new digs. I spent the last few days playing with Homeschool Tracker Plus. We are scheduled for at least the next 3 months! AND I have scheduled at least 4-5 different breaks during the first half of the year. Daddy has been given the schedule and it is our intention that Keystone gets to be used! I’m planning Washington, Idaho, Canada (at least BC) and if I’m lucky a quick & sweet trip to Montana to see some good friends!

Hmmm….I am inspired by…ok, I have to share this website with you.
I love to read her blog and her family is just as beautiful inside as they are outside. She has inspired me to start blogging and continues to inspire me to perfect my photography and my scrapbooking. My cooking…well, maybe in another 5-10 years I’ll catch up.
My favorite thing this week was…
I was sick on Saturday and Sunday and Monday. The sweetest thing was that my family managed to get the tree up and decorated. Without me. And I haven’t freaked out that the ornaments don’t look symmetrical or that the lights are wonky. Yet. OK. Um. I think I need to work on my Christmas Tree issues.
I’m a homeschool mom. What am I NOT reading? My reading review queue is full. Most of them are in various stages of being read. Here’s what I have to read (in order of review):
- What Every Man Wishes His Father Had Told Him (B.F. Yawn) (Kindle)
- Write or is that “Right” Every Time Readers’ Digest (Kindle)
- I Before E (Except after C) Young Readers (Kindle)
- Modern Parents, Vintage Values (Kindle)
- Learning to Live by Shamarion Whitaker (print)
- Three Cups By Tony Townsley with Mark St. Germai (Kindle)
