Last year we visited Harris Beach State Park in Brookings, Oregon to watch the sun set over the ocean. I was mesmerized by the beach and wanted to make sure we stopped when we went through. The kids and puppy needed a chance to stretch their legs so we parked the beast on the side of the road and made the trek down to the beach.
I like to take pictures of the waves. Harris Beach just seems to be so picturesque every time we visit. This time we went on the Southern part of the beach. It was very rocky and waves were crashing. I did find my way to a more secluded beach where I could take pictures in peace and look at rocks and flowers with no one bugging me! I love how secluded Southern Oregon Coast is compared to the Northern Coast. When I’m older, I want a cottage in Brookings and I want to listen to the waves while I scrapbook…that’s my dream for now.
These are my finds from the beach. I love the shells and as soon as I can figure out where in the trailer my shell guide is, I’m going to try identifying them. See the 3 small pieces of glass…those are for Angie.
Isn’t she so pretty…I love how she will pose for me but not too posy! (Is that even a word?)
Yes, I let my child touch my camera, we were all surprised. (We have a family camera they can use, my Canon is OFF LIMITS to anyone but me) Daddy wanted a picture with me, so I let Bella take the picture with the sacred camera, I think he still likes me (HAA HAA!). It actually turned out ok even though I look like a dork as usual.
